10 Μαΐ 2024 · Rosecrans’ Chickamauga Campaign was a major effort in the Western Theater of the Civil War to capture supply hubs for the Confederates. The campaign was wildly successful, resulting in Rosecrans capturing Chattanooga and forcing the Confederates to flea toward Georgia. On September 19, a two-day battle began along the creek south of Chattanooga.
