Another year’s worth of Vital Statistics is now available. The indexes and registrations for the 1917 births, 1932 marriages, and 1942 deaths are now available on microfilm. These records are available for consultation in our Reading Room at 134 Ian Macdonald Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario.
Parish registers are an important source for information on births, baptisms, marriages, deaths and burials. For you to locate relevant records, you must know the place and the religious denomination of a person. Religious denomination is indicated in Census records.
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) holds a small collection of church parish registers and other records related to births, baptisms, marriages, deaths and burials.
