7 Σεπ 2024 · Today, Oregon is home to nearly 2,500 miles of rails with its one-time high of about 3,300 miles occurring during the 1920s. Interestingly, the state has only lost about 25% of its infrastructure, a remarkably low number considering most states have lost between 45% and 50%.
The maps provide information on transportation systems, state and county boundaries, and locations of cities and towns. The series includes several topical maps depicting Oregon flora, historical sites and trails, postal service routes, and gem and mineral locations.
