U.S. Route 66 (US 66, Route 66) is a part of a former United States Numbered Highway in the state of California that ran from the west in Santa Monica on the Pacific Ocean through Los Angeles and San Bernardino to Needles at the Arizona state line.

"Historic Route 66" signs may be found along the old route on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, and along Foothill Boulevard in San Dimas, La Verne, and Claremont, California. The city of Glendora, California, renamed Alosta Avenue, its section of US 66, by calling it "Route 66".
