_ The renovation of Omaha South High School’s Collin Field has been a long awaited development. Long nicknamed “the Hole,” Collin Field was in disrepair for nearly 40 years. The new Collin Field is a first-rate soccer and football field, complete with a synthetic turf surface and measuring 75 yards wide and 120 yards long.
Print Email. Collins stadium is located between 20th and 23rd Streets and L and M Streets. It includes an artificial turf playing field, synthetic surface track, scoreboard, home/visitor grandstands, home/visitor concession buildings (housing restrooms, team rooms and equipment storage), new tennis courts and expanded parking.

Soccer Field Diagram. 2023-24. NOTE: An engineered natural turf soccer field should have a minimum of one-and-one-half percent (1.5%) slope for fields which are surface drained. For natural turf fields with a sub-surface drain system the slope should be no less than one (1.0%) percent.
