In order to apply for the HCV program, you will have to apply to an open waitlist. The Housing Choice Voucher Program comprises the majority of the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority's Section 8 rental assistance programs.
To apply, contact your local Public Housing Authority. During the application process, a Public Housing Authority will collect information on family income, assets and family composition. The Public Housing Authority will use this information to determine program eligibility and the amount of the housing assistance payment.

Housing Choice Vouchers This program provides eligible households vouchers to help pay the rent on privately owned homes of their choosing. A family receiving a voucher must pay at least 30 percent of its monthly adjusted gross income for rent and utilities.

1 Οκτ 2020 · The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) will re-open its rental assistance portal on October 13, 2020 at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). The portal will be used to accept applications for the Emergency Solutions Grant CARES Act (ESG-CV) rental assistance program.
