Harvest Home is Los Angeles-based residential program providing housing support and programs to pregnant women who are experiencing homelessness. Harvest Home receives over 500 calls each year from pregnant women in need of housing and support.
Provides a residential housing program and life-long personalized care for pregnant and parenting women and their children. Temporary hotel/motel stays rent assistance, security deposit assistance, landlord mediation, and housing search. Provides permanent housing placements, as well as motel vouchers and referrals for emergency shelters.
Our Community-Based Housing (CBH) Program connects single unaccompanied women and women with children to permanent housing and supportive services throughout Los Angeles County. CBH case managers provide each woman with the individualized support she needs to regain personal stability.
Women and their families impacted by domestic violence and homelessness are often faced with limited support, poverty, and isolation. Our model of intervention uses a trauma-informed approach and integrates the relational-cultural theory that brings relationships to the forefront of human psychology.
