As a private person, you can submit a notification of change of ownership using our app Mina fordon, which you may download for free from the App Store or Google Play on your iPhone or Android mobile phone.
The easiest way to change ownership is via the Swedish Transport Agency’s website or app. You can also fill in the buyer’s personal details in Part 2 and send it by mail. The new owner must take out third-party insurance that applies from the date specified for the change of ownership.
Part 2 of the registration certificate is a valuable document and must always be sent in with an application for a change of ownership, even in cases where the change of ownership is made to a car dealer.
26 Νοε 2024 · When the vehicle has arrived in Sweden you may apply for verification of origin. You do this by completing an application and sending it, together with all other essential documents, to the Swedish Transport Agency.
