If you use our app Mina fordon, or our e-service for change of ownership, the change of ownership will be made instantly and you can notify us of licensing your vehicle for use that same day, at the same time as you notify us of the change of ownership.
The easiest way to change ownership is via the Swedish Transport Agency’s website or app. You can also fill in the buyer’s personal details in Part 2 and send it by mail. The new owner must take out third-party insurance that applies from the date specified for the change of ownership.
