15 Σεπ 2019 · My wired mouse is not working on neither my desktop nor my brand new laptop. Both have Windows 10. Very rarely will it work and only for one click after I've tried to click multiple times.

Here's the steps you can try. -Press Windows key + X. -Go to Device Manager. -Expand the Mice and other pointing device. -Look for Mouse driver that was installed. -Right click and Update. -Look for "Browse my computer for driver. -Let me pick drivers available drivers. -Choose an old driver and use it. Restart your computer.
24 Φεβ 2018 · No external mouse would work on a USB port. It appears to be an issue with Windows Update KB4074588. The work-around is to uninstall Windows Update KB4074588 and reboot.
