Objective: To better understand consumer perceptions and usage of goat products. Leveraged $50,000 in funding from the Center of Excellence and $36,000 in GF2 funding to conduct a benchmark “usage and attitude survey” of Ontario consumers for goat milk and goat milk products.
Ontario Goat represents Ontario’s milk, meat and fibre goat farmers with a united voice and is dedicated to enhancing the goat industry through education, collaboration, innovation and strategic alliances.
30 Ιαν 2024 · In 2021, the number of goats reported on registered dairy goat farms in Ontario was 85,673, representing 57.8% of total goats in the province. This was a 2.2% increase from the 83,841 goats reported in 2016.
