Its new name reinforces the society’s position as the leading forum for advancing light science and technology. It also reflects its diverse global community.

The Journal of the Optical Society of America A (JOSA A) is devoted to developments in any field of classical optics, image science, and vision. The Optical Society (OSA) is now Optica! Dedicated to promoting the generation, application, archiving and dissemination of knowledge in optics and photonics worldwide.
