21 Οκτ 2020 · Oracle APEX 20.2 introduced a new Cards native report region type. The new Cards region is a lightweight report region, declaratively supporting easy customization of card UI, including the layout, appearance, icon, badge, media, and actions.
Cards Regions are useful for presenting a variety of information in small blocks and can be heavily customized. They can be displayed in three styles, with icons or initials, images as part of the body or as the background, to enhance each card presentation and you can control the layout.
Cards is a native report region type in Oracle Application Express (APEX). The Cards region type gives developers a powerful, flexible, new way of displaying data in bite-sized blocks. Card regions are ideal for use in faceted search or presenting at-a-glance information.
That’s all changed now as 20.2 APEX has introduced a new Cards report region type with much improved declarative customisation features. Let’s explore this in detail with the help of examples which demonstrates how easily you can create Cards in an Application.
