17 Ιουν 2011 · Is there a way to convert a string to binary then back again in the standard PHP library? To clarify what I'm trying to do is store a password on a database. I'm going to convert it first using a hash function then eventually store it as binary.

This function takes a decimal, converts it to binary and returns the decimal values of each individual binary value (a 1) in the binary string. You can use larger decimal values if you pass them to the function as a string!

11 Φεβ 2016 · Oracle has a function for encoding a binary value, specifically a RAW type, into base64: BASE64_ENCODE. This makes sense. I want to turn binary into something I can more easily port across systems.
