I wanted to ditch using a three amp setup and get a two channel amp with a nice clean channel that would do tipping on the edge of breakup, and a nice dirty channel with smooth overdrive similar to most classic rock and late 70s punk bands.
20 Δεκ 2022 · Best Orange amps: Guitar World’s choice. It certainly isn’t the cheapest option, but the best Orange guitar amp might have to be the Orange Rockerverb 50 MKiii Head. While it might not be known for its clean sound, it’s got one of the best clean channels on any twin channel amp we’ve heard.
I think Orange amp owners would probably give you a more thorough review, if that's what you're in the market for. P.S. If you're searching for a nice versatile tube amp, I'd recommend an Egnater Tweaker.

This sweet Bittersweet Orange Metallic (79A) 1970 AMX is a fine example and one of only 4116 made in the two-seat AMX's final year. Beneath the functional ram air hood is the 390 V8, the most potent engine that was available in 1970.

It was a serious performer; 0-60 arrived in 6.56 secs. and it covered the 1/4 mile in 14.68 secs. clocking at 92 mph. Those impressive numbers came with the usual drawbacks found in Detroit’s high-performance models.
There were two versions offered in 1970 AMX: the standard AMX, the “Big Bad” AMX. The standard AMX was available with two engine options: a 290 horse power (hp), 360 cubic inch (ci) or a 325 hp 390 ci engine. The buyer got a 4 speed manual transmission standard and a three speed automatic was optional.
