23 Σεπ 2018 · Some of the most sought-after options for 1968-’70 AMXs are the three Big Bad colors. In January 1969, AMC introduced Big Bad Orange, Big Bad Green and Big Bad Blue as optional paints on the AMX and Javelin, covering even the bumpers.

9 Απρ 2024 · The AMX was originally optioned with the 390-cid V-8 (a 290-hp 360-cid V-8 was standard); a fully synchronized four-speed transmission; power steering; tinted glass; and the light group. It was painted Big-Bad Green, and green is my favorite color!
6 Απρ 2017 · Though well received by the automotive press and boasting impressive performance figures, the two seater AMC AMX would bow out after the 1970 model year. However, the AMX moniker would live on, denoting the most performance-focused version of the Javelin available for 1971.
The “Go Package” was available on both the standard AMX and the “Big bad” models. The “Big Bad” AMX was basically a fancy paint job. The buyer had his choice of a wild version of blue, green or orange on the exterior of the car. Additionally, the bumpers were painted instead of chromed.
