15 Απρ 2003 · We review research on and the practice of Organization Development. Organization development has been an active area for research during the past decade, and current research benefits from well-developed theoretical frameworks of organization change.
Chapter 14 , “Organization Development and the Future,” is significantly revised and provides an overview of current and future trends in OD and then summarizes four primary trends currently under way and likely to influence the field of OD in the foreseeable future.
Figure 1 suggests that organizational behavior is shaped by four forces - the organization’s environment and the choice its leaders make about strategy, the organization’s design, the people selected and promoted, and the behavior of leaders and their top team.
