10 Οκτ 2011 · Camp 9: Most folks seem to recommend factory S&W Model 59 or 69 magazines, or Mec-Gar manufactured magazines for the Camp 9. Factory Marlin magazines are difficult to find. Original Marlin magazines were sold in 10, 12, and 20 round capacities. They have "Marlin" stamped on the bottom plate.
15 Φεβ 2019 · It appears that the Camp 9 shipped with 4 round mag's in only two years of production, '90 and '91. Prior years ('85-89) shipped with 12 round mag's, and then again for 3 years '92-94, and then with 10 round mag's '95-99 (or probably '00, even though the Camp's weren't in the catalog).

20 Απρ 2012 · Just wondering which is the BEST magazine for use in the camp nine. I picked up two S&W 59 series 15rd mags in a pawn shop the other day for 15 bucks each, and they both work well. I have 2 20rd no name mags that are crap.
30 Απρ 2008 · Yes, you can use S&W 59 series magazines. I bought several 15 rounders... until I did some digging and found some 30rnd stick mags from CDNN. It sounds like a crazy idea, but I came across a diamond reticle shotgun scope on the cheap and ended up putting it on the Camp 9.
Fourth, the magazine situation. It uses S&W 59 series mags, which aren't rare, but expensive enough to be annoying to get (since I don't have a 59) and the selection is mostly Mec Gar magazines. Plus, the factory magazine is a Marlin 4 round (because every 9mm carbine only needs 4 rounds).
18 Φεβ 2018 · I love my Marlin Camp 9 Carbine. Bought it new during the over 10 round magazine ban years, because I owned a S&W 5906 and had plenty of magazines. Have never had a problem with it, accuracy is fine, ammo is cheap, mags are available and affordable.
