15 Απρ 2005 · A great dealer site that is very honest is Pix Poster: http://www.pixposters.com. I order from them all the time and they state right up front if it's a reprint or not. My best advice is to order posters as early as you can. They seem to go into reprint much faster these days.

I didn't need an original print and I didn't want to spend more money to get a nicer frame with matting or UV protection. If you're willing to go that extra mile and incur the expense, then it is a nice addition to your home. If not, you can get the reprint for a fraction of the cost.
16 Νοε 2017 · Just because a poster has an NSS number on the front does not automatically make it an “original”. When a poster is copied/reproduced, the NSS number is often reproduced as well in order make it look more authentic.

Especially old posters, such as this one-sheet for The Phantom of the Opera (1925), are quite often the most expensive posters that can be found.
