9 Μαρ 2024 · I once tried to play with an Xbox controller on Steam through my PC, but it wasn't working correctly at all! Luckily for us, there's an option in Steam to test out the controller before you enter a game.
The Xbox Controller and its S model use proprietary Xbox controller port, thus requiring a third-party adapter to connect to PC, but even then, it requires the special drivers to make it work. Depending on what driver installed, it can work either as a DirectInput controller or a XInput controller.
13 Σεπ 2021 · I never post on Steam forums but THIS solved my issue with Steam Input not displaying back paddles as an option to configure on my Xbox One Elite (Series 1 / OG) controller. I found out the main problem was that I could not uninstall/reinstall the Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver.
2 Απρ 2020 · Help with OG controller on Windows 10. I've tried XBCD and after getting everything downloaded and installed I get. "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
