sorry, but i have the xbox one wireless device, connecting xbox one controller it, is working , steam sees it, and registers, it but LIS2 & TWD final season, controller no longer works for them, and says press "A" to play, but no buttons work on the controller.
I actually got around this by opening Steam, going to settings > controller > general controller settings > enable “Xbox configuration support” Then on the game having the issue. Right click and open properties > controller.
11 Σεπ 2021 · My controller can be detected in Steam and works fine in Big Picture mode but couldn't be detected in some games marked with support of controller. It works in some other games though. My setup: Controller: Xbox Elite Wireless Controller 2. OS: Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.2. Game that didn't work: Shovel Knight, Metaverse Keeper.
