  1. Melee training involves training Attack, Strength, Defence, and Hitpoints through combat. Ironman melee training is similar to the normal training methods, with a heavy emphasis on Slayer for resources.

Using normal customisable rumble with absorption potions offers a very straightforward and the most AFK-able way of training melee stats in the game, allowing the player to stay in combat for 20 minutes without any player input.

  5. If you have around 65/80/65 melee stats now, do Making friends with my arm quest and make both of the basalt tele portals in your POH. The quest can be done with lower stats, but the boss can be annoying if you're not hitting well.

  6. I'm 75/86/73/80 melee/range, and got 11kc of each. It can help to hop until you find a world where someone else is soloing rex, but even if you're alone, you can avoid rex pretty easily. I used a cbow with dhide top and legs, and dscim/defender with barrows legs, granite top, and dds spec.
