At higher levels, melee stats can be trained in the Nightmare Zone. Using normal customisable rumble with absorption potions offers a very straightforward and the most AFK-able way of training melee stats in the game, allowing the player to stay in combat for 20 minutes without any player input.
Fishing your agility to 70+ allows you to skip the slow exp courses. Also getting 70+ strength before melee training/slayer grind is really helpful. You can buy food from warriors guild
Now, everyone has their own methods of training an ironman, which means that you don't have to follow this guide to the letter. It all also depends on how hardcore you actually want your ironman to be!
If you have around 65/80/65 melee stats now, do Making friends with my arm quest and make both of the basalt tele portals in your POH. The quest can be done with lower stats, but the boss can be annoying if you're not hitting well.
