If anyone else comes you just pray mage+augury and spam bones, the most anyone's got me for is 8 bones and that's because they caught me before I'd even reached the altar. Respawn at Ferox, run to bank, grab Ghorrock tele + full inv of bones, repeat.

Chaos altar is great if you want to rush prayer xp and gamble on saving, but glorifying it as some kind of good PvP place is just absurd. It's literally the equivalent of pheasant 'hunting' irl. Put out bait location, kill plebs as they mindlessly run at the altar and use as many bones as possible before dying.
