[Disc] How did Ouran Highschool Host Club anime end up so different from the manga? I'm trying to finally read the manga as the anime is one my long time favorites. The disconnect between the manga and the anime is startling.
Well, you have to note that the anime had to come up with its own noncanon ending since its source material (the manga) wasn't finished yet around that time. So yeah, it's only natural, that the manga ending is more well-liked.
