  1. Hunters should review the requirements for Hunter Education, Harvest Record for deer and/or turkey and Game Check. Get your Conservation ID# and use it for faster Game Check report and license renewals.

  2. Alabama hunters have an opportunity to hunt many species, including, white-tailed deer, wild turkey, bobwhite quail, feral hogs, waterfowl, rabbits, squirrel, mourning doves, and many other species. Game Check is mandatory.

  3. Annual hunting licenses can be purchased online by clicking here or through all licensed agents, or Kansas Department of Wildlife and Park offices. No hunter may purchase more than one permit that allows the harvest of an antlered deer.

  4. All resident hunters age 16 through 74 must have a resident hunting license unless exempt by Kansas Law. All nonresident hunters, regardless of age, must have a nonresident hunting license.   5. Military personnel assigned to Fort Benning, who have a Fort Benning hunting license, hunting on base only are not required to purchase an Alabama license. They are still required to carry a Harvest Record and report any deer or turkey killed on base in Alabama to Game Check.
