The book of Job begins by introducing us to its three most significant characters: Job, Satan, and God. In this lesson, Dr. Thomas explores the difficulty of Job’s suffering, Satan’s involvement, and God’s sovereignty.
Job chapter 1. Job 1:1-5. The holiness, riches, and religious care of Job for his children. Job 1:6-12. Satan, appearing before God, by calumniation obtains leave to afflict Job. Job 1:13-22. Understanding of the loss of his children and goods, in his mourning he blesses God. Job chapter 2.
