9 Μαΐ 2017 · He finds great delight in those who fear and trust Him. God already has the ability to do anything and everything needed. He gets excited when a person will trust Him to do what is needed for him every time and all the time. God’s love for you is perfect and unfailing.
To say that "God doesn't admire your legs," is shocking. Except, that is what the Psalmist tells us. " 10 His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, 11 but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love." 1 (Psalm 147:10-11, ESV)
The psalmist delights not in things wherein sinners trust and glory; but a serious and suitable regard to God is, in his sight, of very great price. We are not to be in doubt between hope and fear, but to act under the gracious influences of hope and fear united. Barnes' Notes on the Bible.
