27 Ιουλ 2022 · The advanced map is the rendered 3d zones from EQ with metadata from Goodurden's maps overlaid. The idea was to make viewing zones lightweight and map markers quickly filterable. I'll let the site itself do the talking: https://eqmap.vercel.app/
The zone viewer includes zones from the first 5 or so expansions and map marker metadata from Goodurden. The main benefit is seeing how zones are actually laid out rather than 2d representations. Plus it's fun seeing all the hidden stuff the game devs used.
The Mines are one of the safer areas to hunt in the game. Unlike the neighboring Temple of Droga, where it is difficult to get a rest from the great number of goblins, here the creatures are spread out into discrete areas that one can clear and pull from more easily.
ZlizEQMap is a map tool mainly designed for servers that emulate old versions of EverQuest. It features a local database of maps from the old EQAtlas website (now hosted on allakabor.com and tessmage.com), along with player positioning (x plotted on map), transparent overlay, waypoints, zone connections, and more.

For those on progression servers, I’ve dug through my archive of older versions and have added any that I could find (and prior to my website). If you click on the graphic, a larger image will appear that can be printed on wide format printers.
