The following documents must be submitted to the Board to support the application: Physician Assistant Training Program Certification. This form is mandatory and cannot be substituted. Applicants are to complete Part A prior to submitting the form to the PA training program or education institution for completion.
The California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (Board) protects consumers by licensing and regulating the state's barbering and beauty industry. The Board was established in 1992 (after the Board of Barber Examiners and Board of Cosmetology merged) and today licenses over 50,000 establishments and over 560,000 individuals.
Attend a cosmetology school that offers a certification program. Renewal. Renew by October 31; Group 1 licenses: even-numbered years / Group 2 licenses: odd-numbered years; $55 fee. Reciprocity.
