18 Pa.C.S. § 6105(c) also prohibits the following persons from possessing, using, controlling, transferring, manufacturing, or obtaining a license to possess, use, control, transfer, or manufacture a firearm in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A person who is 21 years of age or older may apply for a License to Carry Firearms. The license allows individuals to carry a firearm concealed on their body or in a vehicle. The license is valid for five years unless revoked. Submit applications to the sheriff of the county where you live.
STEP 1: Download, complete and print an application ready to be submitted upon arrival at Firearms. Do not mail or email your application, bring it in-person when you apply. STEP 2: Arrive with a completed application, valid PA ID or Driver’s License and $20.00 cash.

People who are not residents of Pennsylvania may apply for and receive a Non-Resident License To Carry Firearms in Pennsylvania. The process is exactly the same as it is for residents except that non-residents must possess a similar permit in their home state per the following statute: 18 Pa.C.S. § 6109: Licenses.
