You, your employer, or someone acting on your behalf with your power of attorney, may file a Disability Benefit Application provided by SERS for disability benefits. Your personal physician also must provide a report stating the basis of your disability.
Submit your retirement application no later than 90 days after your termination date. Beyond the 90 days, your retirement date will be the date the application is filed with PSERS.
