Current Inspector? If you have already used the training portal, log in to the left. If you are an emissions or safety inspector, and this is your first visit to the training portal, please use your Drivers License number to register in the training portal. To begin, Select "Sign Up", above.
You will complete the Safety Inspection Category Removal form. Upon receipt of the form, PennDOT will update your record. Once this is completed, you may register online through the on-line exam and training portal and your exam will no longer contain any questions regarding the category that was removed.
Registration, training materials, and the exam may be completed by accessing an online web portal. Safety inspectors may choose to take the exam only, or may choose the on-line refresher training option and exam. Additionally, PennDOT contracted authorized schools may offer the training.
