Size: assess the size of the lymph node. Shape: assess the lymph node’s borders to determine if they feel regular or irregular.
Lymph Node Exam Technique. Always evaluate for symmetry: clinically significant nodes classically asymmetric. Identify salivary glands by location as non-lymph nodes.
