24 Σεπ 2020 · They painted expressive seascapes, lots with sunsets as the background. Later on in the year families have the opportunity to order cards, diaries, sketchbook and calendars with their child’s beautiful artwork on it.
14 Ιουλ 2019 · Start painting with tempera paints, adding tints to the sky and some glorious shades of blue for the ocean. After the sky and ocean are painted start on the landscape. Look at photos of Acadia landscapes and discuss how the land in the foreground is much brighter than the land in the background.
We learned four painting techniques and each student created an assortment of painted papers in each style using warm, cool and “free” color schemes. We then cut, tore and drew on these papers to create an ocean scene with fish, coral, and other sea life.

2 Νοε 2012 · I absolutely love the way their adorable fish are swimming in the gorgeous blue ocean water... There were 4 - 1st grade classes, with 80+ kids who collaborated. We used tissue paper & acrylic paint to produce this lovely, colorful artwork that hangs in their hallway.
