However, with the Gay Street theater being centrally located in Knoxville and with its easily accessible parking for attending the movie, it's good. The inside of the theater is--while not the best in town--certainly adequate, if not toward the top here in town.
You do get free parking at the Market Square parking garage (possibly at the other city owned garages but I am not completely sure). Just remember to take your movie stub back to the garage with you and you get out for free.
Parking is easy, as there is a parking garage connected by a covered walkway that leads right up to the theater for downtown Knoxville, it's really easy to get in and out of. The only thing they could do better is keep their restrooms cleaner.
