The Malaysian Houses of Parliament (Malay: Bangunan Parlimen Malaysia) is a complex where the Malaysian Parliament assembles. The structure is located at the Perdana Botanical Gardens in Kuala Lumpur, close to the Malaysian National Monument.
On 16 September 1963, the first meeting of Parliament of Malaysia was held in the Parliament Building which is located near to Perdana Lake, Kuala Lumpur. A hill with a size of 16.2 hectares which was known as 'West Folly Hill' was being levelled during the early stage of construction of Parliament Complex in 1961.
