The Florida Railroad Museum (reporting mark FGCX) is a railroad museum located in Parrish, Florida. The museum operates a heritage railroad and offers round-trip tourist excursions along six miles of the former Seaboard Air Line Sarasota Subdivision in Manatee County between Parrish and Willow.
2 Μαΐ 2024 · Tucked away in the small town of Parrish, the Florida Railroad Museum isn’t your typical tourist trap. In fact, it’s more like a time machine on tracks, whisking visitors away on a journey through the golden age of rail travel.
Founded in 1982, the Florida Railroad Museum's mission is to acquire, preserve and operate historic examples of Florida's railroad history. The museum's Ticket Office and Gift Shop is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Diesel train excursions operate on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Train rides take museum visitors through a stretch of rural Manatee County, which features sights of old Florida: farmland, piney woods, and palmetto flats.
