I am a fan of truecrypt. Now that you have an encrypted drive you can use subst to put the "drive" where a folder should be...might take a couple more steps, but it's a free solution that just works. more info here: http://www.truecrypt.org/.

3 Σεπ 2024 · Open the password-protected folder. To access files in your protected folder, double-click the newly created ".dmg" file, enter the password you set, and click OK. Your folder will open as a mounted virtual "drive" on the desktop. Once unlocked, this will open a window and display your files.

13 Νοε 2010 · Various ways to password protect a file or folder using Microsoft Vista are shown in this video. The first step is to choose a file you want to add a password to. After you decide on the file you wish to protect you must right click and select add to archive using Win Rar.
