8 Σεπ 2015 · Authorized users of the USNA Mission network have consented to the Acceptable Use Policy for USNA IT Resources and the Navy User Agreement and Consent Provisions, and have accepted responsibility for secure operational behavior which includes protecting and maintaining passwords.
8 Σεπ 2015 · Using the self-service Password Portal: The password portal is accessible from a link on the USNA A-Z index web page. It offers the following self-service capabilities for a standard, non-privileged-user network account:
28 Αυγ 2024 · I then have to contact my blue and gold officer to request a password change. I really don't want to keep bothering them, and it's also frustrating just trying to login to my own portal. I just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this or if anyone knows a fix?
Configure home network level devices to (1) comply with USNA password complexity policy, and (2) prohibit changing the device settings from outside the home network.
Protect authentication tokens (e.g., Common Access Card (CAC), Alternate Logon Token (ALT), Personal Identity Verification (PIV), National Security Systems (NSS) tokens, etc.) at all times. Authentication tokens shall not be left unattended at any time unless properly secured.
