I'm trying to use my Windows 7 PC, and for some reason, Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste only work intermittently. Neither the control copy nor the control paste work (i've tried: Ctrl + c, Ctrl + v, Shift + c, Shift + v, Ctrl + Insert, Shift + Insert). I've tried to run a system check through CMD with sfc /scannow. It repaired something, but when I restarted it didn't solve the problem.
16 Αυγ 2017 · The keyboard command Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+X to cut is not working. Every other Ctrl command seems to be working - Pasting, undo, redo, etc... they're all fine. The keys work, and this is happening on 2 external keyboards as well as the laptop keyboard eliminating the keyboard as the culprit.

So if you copy a file from the desktop, click on a desktop folder (not double click opening a new Windows Explorer window) and try to paste directly, it'll try to paste into the desktop, which is the same as the origin, hence the ...
18 Οκτ 2017 · No reactions when I pressed "Ctrl+C" (to Copy) or "Ctrl+V" (to Paste) in NotePad, all Office programs (Words, Excel, etc.), IE/Chrome in my Windows 10 Professional (10.0.16299.19) using my Lenovo ThinkPad (I have to right mouse click to Copy/Paste), but it is working fine in my Windows 10 Home (10.0.15063.674) using my Dell Inspiron 3437.
