REGISTRATION: Mandatory for all classes. Registration applications can be found on our In-Service Training page. STARTING TIME: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified. DRESS CODE: Proper dress consists of: Business suit, tie; business casual; regular department uniform. No jeans, shorts, sweat clothes, sneakers, or sandals are allowed.
20 Αυγ 2017 · The police officer training academy in New Jersey (NJ) is probably one of the toughest in that region. Not only are you expected to be in good physical shape to gain acceptance into the police academy, but you’ll also have to pass the curriculum course exams as well.

15 Δεκ 2023 · The graduates were recognized at a ceremony at Felician University’s Breslin Performing Arts Center in Lodi for completing the comprehensive training requirements of the Bergen County Police Academy. The addition of these new officers will bring the number of police officers on the force in the City of Paterson to more than 420.
Our basic course for police officers, approved by the New Jersey Police Training Commission, is designed specifically for newly appointed police officers. It includes the prescribed course of study a police officer must complete as a condition for permanent appointment.
Our newest recruits are currently in the Passaic County Police Academy where they will train for the next six months before officially becoming Paterson Police officers. We wish them the best of luck and are excited to welcome them to the department.
