Dosage in Patients with Renal Impairment. No dosage adjustment is recommended in patients with mild renal impairment (eGFR ≥60 to <90 mL/min).
Take PAXLOVID exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to take it. PAXLOVID consists of 2 medicines: nirmatrelvirtablets and ritonavir tablets. The 2 medicines are taken together 2 times each day for 5 days. o Nirmatrelvir is an oval, pink tablet. o Ritonavir is a white or off-white tablet.
2 doses of PAXLOVID at the same time. • If you take too much PAXLOVID, call your healthcare provider or go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away.

1 Ιουν 2023 · Adults and children ages 12 and older with mild to moderate COVID who weigh at least 88 lbs (40 kg) are eligible to take it. The typical Paxlovid dosage is 2 tablets (300 mg) of nirmatrelvir and 1 tablet (100 mg) of ritonavir by mouth twice a day for 5 days.
The first dose of PAXLOVID should be taken in the morning or evening, depending on when your patient picked up their prescription. Subsequent doses should be taken 12 hours apart. For each dose, patients should take all 3 tablets in the blister card at the same time.
Each dose contains 2 types of medicine: nirmatrelvir tablets (pink) and a ritonavir tablet (white to off-white). There are 2 dose pack options available for PAXLOVID: the standard dose pack and a reduced dose pack. Your healthcare professional may prescribe the reduced dose to you if you have kidney disease.
