We are testing PC800 RDRAM manufactured by Samsung, and as it is the older 16 bit serial type, we need to install them in matching pairs. Here we have two 128 MB PC800 RIMMS. Because RDRAM runs at such a high frequency, Rambus requires all memory manufacturers to add ramsinks to their RIMMS.

9 Δεκ 2003 · I have a Dell Dimension 8200 computer and I want to upgrade my RAM. It uses RDRAM PC800 Non-ECC. Right now I have two 128mb modules making up 256mb of RAM. I just wanted to know if I add more RAM in the other two open slots do they have to be 128mb also or can I add two 256mb modules?
