10 Δεκ 2005 · I think its fair to say mail order tuning is never as accurate as a good dyno tune, but PCMforless is as good or better than anybody else out there. I've used PCMforless for a couple of things (new PCM, OBD2 emissions compliance tune) and they've always been great.

18 Απρ 2012 · All stock LT1 with just exhaust changes - its your money but I didn't do it and the car ran fine. Stock L98 with open air cleaner and better exhaust - yea it may be worth the cost. Now when you start making real changes - get a tune. Make sure you include the price in the mod-budget.

6 Μαΐ 2008 · Your right PCMforless requires the whole PCM for the 94-96 LT1. I've talked to them, and I'm going to give their tune a try. $300 for a tuned PCM, and when I send them back my old PCM they return $115 to me.
PCM Reprogramming Services - PCM Programming service for your engine swap project or stock vehicle. I program all swap PCMs to remove anti-theft system that will cause a "start and die" condition. Sometimes this is referred to as VATS. I enable cooling fans for all swap applications, and change fan on and off temperatures.
