31 Ιαν 2024 · If Congress acts to modify the current maximum award for 2024-2025, we will publish revised maximum and minimum award amounts. Under section 401 (a) (2) (F) of the HEA, as amended, the minimum Pell Grant award is ten percent of the maximum award amount for the award year.

The Cal Grant award amounts shown below are the yearly maximum amounts based on a full-time enrollment status at a Cal Grant eligible institution. These award amounts are subject to change based on your school’s verification of your eligibility.
Federal Pell Grant amount of $3,698 if enrolled full time. Federal Pell Grant amount of $2,773 if enrolled three-quarter time. Federal Pell Grant amount of $1,849 if enrolled half time.
A Pell Grant provides financial aid that can be used for tuition, fees and educational expenses. There is no limit on the number of Pell Grants you can get as long as you continue to meet the eligibility requirements. Pell Grants range from $740 to $7,395 in the 2024-2025 academic year (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025).
