In my early 20s when Jesus del Pozo Esencia de Duende was my signature, I couldn't buy in store anywhere BUT Perfumania. And I got a bottle of Annick Goutal Petite Cherie there on clearance for $10, so I'm not going to bitch.
You accused a moderator of this subreddit of being a shill for Perfumania based only on the fact that he said it was unlikely that Perfumania was deliberately selling fakes, seeing as how they're a publicly traded chain store and not a fly by night operation with little to no oversight.
I've bought several fragrances from Perfumania. They're legit, as u/ignoramus mentioned. They offer 20%-50% discount during holidays, and most of the time they have BOGO half price. Selections are limited, though, but better than Sephora or other stores, IMO.

i prefer fragrancenet for online shopping because they are a lot cheaper and have a bigger selection. i do however like going into the perfumania stores when i’m on a trip and buying a fragrance or two.
