27 Ιουλ 2023 · 1982. June – Iran dispatched more than 1,000 Revolutionary Guards to Lebanon after Israel’s June 6 invasion. Iranian forces supported the formation of Hezbollah, a Shiite militia, but never directly confronted Israel. The invasion also strengthened ties between Iran and Syria.
