Fire safety engineering prevents and extinguish fires. Every year, many people are injured or killed in fires. Fires also incur billions in material costs. Preventing, containing and extinguishing fires saves money, the environment and, above all, saves lives. RISE has one of the largest fire protection engineering departments in the world.
Together we are improving fire safety in Sweden. The Swedish Fire Protection Association is a public-interest, non-profit organisation that works for greater fire safety in Sweden. Knowledge is the foundation of everything we do.
