So I grab the Uniden 125AT, activate the weather scan function, and found that it received NOAA weather radio channels 1, 2, and 3, and the audio sounded great through my headphones.
9 Φεβ 2024 · Many weather radios, and other weather radio capable receivers, can receive 7 NOAA weather radio channels and have alert capabilities. You need to have the more sophisticated SAME (location-selective) and hazard-specific alert capabilities built into the receive capability in order to be able to turn off, for example, marine alerts.
I am going to assume your first station will be a NOAA Weather Radio station. Similar steps would work for anything, but the Mode would be different. For this tutorial you would click on the NFM mode in the left side of the main panel (If you wanted to try a local FM station, then you'd use the WFM mode).
